


"I got engaged June 26, 2015. I had numerous people asking me if they could be my wedding planner. I wasn’t sure I really needed a “wedding planner” because I had my own vision and kind of already knew what I was looking for, but I did know I need some help, especially when it came to the actual Wedding Day. LaTasha Webster and Serene Events Management & Productions came across my mind. I knew her work as an event planner, and I knew she would take every detail and help me know exactly what I needed to do. So, I asked her to be my wedding planner.
When we first met up, I already had a lot of things done. We had the songs for our wedding, but not our reception. We pretty much had the decorations all ready to go, except for a few leaves we were still planning on picking and paraffin waxing. (It was an autumn themed wedding.) She had insight on things I hadn’t even though of yet. Things like planning out the “day of” timeline, the songs for the reception, transportation, etc. From that moment on she took over. She worked well with my vendors. The
vendors were on time and knew exactly where to be and when. I did not have to worry about a thing. She took it and ran with it. Even the wedding rehearsal went very smoothly. Everyone knew their place and what to do.
On the wedding day, LaTasha was very professional and had everything in order. She made sure she had an assistant to help her as well. We had a small problem with the DJ, and she took care of it before I had to. I was thankful that she was there. I really didn’t want to look like a Bridezilla on my wedding day when I had tried so hard to not be one. She took care of it very professionally. The one thing I regret is not getting Serene Events Management & Productions involved a little sooner. Had I let LaTasha help me pick a couple of the vendors, I think a few things would have turned out better. Other than that, I was extremely happy with her service and her professionalism. I would highly recommend her to anyone getting married or planning an event."
